Our History

The Evolution of Midwestern Millwright Inc. was created in 1997 with an outstanding team of fabricators, engineers, and field crews. We first started out in a 1,400 square foot shop. We offered a wide variety of industrial Services including portable welding and farm repair.

Real growth

In 1998 we purchased our current location and upgraded to two shops totaling 10,000 square feet. We expanded our services to precision machining, assembly line manufacturing, crane service, grain bins, elevator repair, media blasting, and surveying.

A few years later we added a third 7,500 square foot shop so we could expand our metal fabrication capabilities. We purchased an Automated Accurshear and Automated Accurbreak.

In 2012 we expanded again adding a 3,200 square foot office.

In 2017 we added 2800 square feet for our new waterjet cutting division.

In 2024 we added a new Mazak 450Y Quickturn CNC Machine to expand our machining capabilities

Now after 23 years, Midwestern Millwright has grown from 6 employees to 36 employees. Coy Palmer and his team continue to carry on the tradition of excellence.
